On the last Friday of the month comes an opportunity to experience Tate Modern after-hours through an eclectic mix of art, music, talks, film and workshops.
October’s Late celebrates one year of Uniqlo Tate Lates, with a programme that takes inspiration from the Hyundai Commission: SUPERFLEX – One Two Three Swing!
The evening includes a participatory sound work, the ‘Laziness Lounge‘, by Hannah Kemp-Welch and Lisa Hall inspired by anti-work theory: Reclaim your right to be idle! Relax, collaborate, and mix together sounds in this audio activation, whilst barely lifting a finger.
Full schedule:
SUPERFLEX Open Call – Responses exhibited alongside Reggie Yates photographic portraits.
Print Production – A DIY-styled print production line by Juneau Projects.
Hypnotic Art Tour – A journey through the galleries with a hypnotic soundtrack.
Yoko Ono: Mend Piece – Mend Piece has taken many forms over the years, for this version, Yoko Ono asks participants to ‘mend your heart’.
