Listening Across Disciplines II
Auditory Practices across Arts, Science and Technology
A series of 6 broadcasts each Wednesday, from October 7th, 15.30 (UK time) on Resonance 104.4 FM
This series of broadcasts by Listening Across Disciplines II presents listening as a professional practice, diagnostic strategy and investigative method in the fields of health science, auscultation, speech synthesis, anthropology, urban planning, and sound arts. The programs mix conversations with lab and field demonstrations, as well as environmental sounds. Each installment creates its own listening journey and entangles different voices and approaches with the spaces in which listening takes place.
Produced by Mark Peter Wright and Salomé Voegelin as part of the UK research council (AHRC) funded project Listening across Disciplines II, at the Centre for Creative Research into Sound Arts Practice, University of the Arts London.
