Over four days Rewire festival will present a multitude of online projects and formats that demonstrate the varied ways artists have been creating and performing works under physical restrictions. The festival brings together artists and audience to create and share unique audiovisual and interactive experiences, alongside a discursive programme of talks, workshops and meditations that aims to critically address our festival theme of (Re)setting.
Rewire’s huge line up includes a number of performances and presentations by CRiSAP researchers;
Peter Cusack will give a lecture on sonic journalism, and also speak in a separate discussion with Caroline Claus, a Brussels-based urban (sound) researcher, as they explore the topic of durational sound practice.
Salomé Voegelin and composer performer Jennifer Walshe will share a conversation around written scores, the body and possible worlds.
CRiSAP’s online exhibition Acts of Air will be hosted by Rewire where the 14 relational sound art works being performed and enacted across The Hague. Curator Lisa Hall will lead a participatory digital workshop.
