Victorian ropery, Chatham


A chorus of bicycles, skipping to archival records and the rich heritage of the Ropery, will invite the audience to participate, listen and engage in an experimental action space.

Low-Tech High-Tech (LTHT) is a University of the Arts London community of practice group engaged in low-tech and high-tech action, traversing sound, space, interaction and textiles. Granted special access to the Bow Gamelan/Paul Burwell Archive, held in the Special Collections at Chelsea College of Arts Library. Ropery Songs aims to ‘awaken the archive’.┬áThe current members are Thomas Gardner, Nicolas Marechal, Anne Marr, Colin Priest and Kevin Walker.
