Sounding Board
Thursday 13th October, 12.30-2.00pm 2016
Sound Studio, CRiSAP W217, LCC
Sounding Board is a listening and thinking project that aims to foster a language and framework for thinking about sonic works. Open to PhD researchers, MA and BA Sound Art students and staff, Sounding Board is a monthly semi-structured meeting where ideas and approaches to music and sound works can be discussed within a friendly setting with the aim of enriching our listening experiences and our work by extending ours idea about how sound art and music occupies cross-platform spaces.
Over the course of 90 minutes, participants are invited to bring texts for discussion, sounds to listen to, scores to examine. Help us make some noise!
