Speakers from London College of Communication (LCC) and leaders of the community will join a conversation about the changes that are taking place at Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre as an introduction to the audiovisual installation and exhibition Weaving Migrations.

For many years, communities from the two buildings have been crossing paths using the Shopping Centre as a space for transit, leisure, special celebrations and daily meals. What efforts have been made to reflect on and create meaningful links with communities at the Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre?

This is a conversation about the immediate future and the importance of memory, space and place in this context.

Guest speakers:

Dr. Patria Román, Latin Elephant
Eva Sajovic, Artist
Peter Osborne, Senior Lecturer

Free, booking required. Book a place on the LCC website.

Weaving Migrations is part of LCC's public programme.
