Their words begin to shake those grounds. They glide along and sharpen the edges of individual listening, in a plurality of texts, voices and sounds.
Sometimes they might even remain silent, listening to other voices, or be stuck in mutual echoes and repetition.
ora: hour, pray, speak, now, aura; insight, disorder, conversation, enquiry, doubt.
Every episode will host a debate and enact a voyage with guests, words, and sounds, compositions, recordings, voices and silences, to encounter a number of issues in today’s discourse on listening.
Broadcasts to date have included; Listening and reading, Ethics, Place, Acousmatic, Curating Sound, Eavesdropping and Quietude, all of which are available to listen to on the Ora website.
