CRiSAP and LCC's Sound Arts department co-run a Sound Arts Lecture Series of weekly talks at the college, exploring the diverse field of sound arts practice. Each term one sound arts staff member curates the series of talks, inviting a number of sound practitioners to share their work.
A Pluriversal Volume brings together the 23 graduating sound artists in works that span sculpture, installation, video and performance: here in their communing, exhibition is conceived of as pluriverse, each work its own world of experimentation, research and play, in dialogue with each other.
This year’s London College of Communication MA Sound Arts Postgrad Symposium offers insights into our graduating class’s final show, A Pluriversal Volume. It features a talk from our guest artist Lisa Hall, as well as contributions from the student artists themselves and the course leader, Thomas Gardner. Chaired by Louise Gray. The symposium is an opportunity for fellow researchers from the sound arts community, students, guests and friends to engage directly with the artists’ research, through conversation and inquiry.
